Swamp Nasty Outfitters

Swamp Nasty Outfitters - Waterfowl hunting in Oklahoma
Swamp Nasty Outfitters - Waterfowl hunting in Oklahoma

Description

Swamp Nasty Outfitters, based just across the line in Bonham, Texas, also guides waterfowl hunts on the Oklahoma side of the Texas-Oklahoma border, working 120 acres of managed wetland alongside thousands of additional acres of flooded timber, fields, sloughs, and large lakes. The species list covers mallards, pintails, wigeon, teal, divers, and wood ducks, with hunts running from the second week of November through January and shooting limited to morning hours; flooded-timber hunts run primarily in January when water levels cooperate. All-inclusive packages bundle lodging, meals, and professional guides, with custom duck blinds used most days and layout blinds worked in on occasion; gun rental is available for hunters who don’t want to travel with a shotgun. Being positioned directly on the state line lets the outfit choose whichever side, Texas or Oklahoma, is holding birds on a given day, which matters more to results here than which single property a hunter books. For duck hunters who want flexibility across the border rather than a single fixed lease, that’s the appeal.
