Arkansas County Guide Service

Arkansas County Guide Service hunts more than 40,000 acres around Almyra and Stuttgart, Arkansas, between Bayou Meto Wildlife Management Area and the White River National Wildlife Refuge, squarely in the Grand Prairie section of the Mississippi Flyway. Owner-operator Chad Lloyd grew up guiding hunters on this same ground and has run the operation for more than two decades. Terrain covers flooded timber, swamps, oxbow lakes, buck-brush ponds, rice fields, and reservoirs, targeting mallards, snow geese, and specklebelly geese depending on the season. Both fully guided hunts with lodging and self-guided blind leases (up to six hunters per lease) are available, along with guided snow goose conservation-season hunts in late winter. Dozens of duck blinds are in rotation across the property, giving guides flexibility to move with bird activity rather than working a single fixed spot. For hunters wanting either a guided Grand Prairie hunt or a private blind lease, both formats run through the same operation.
