Ridgeline Outfitters is a private big-game hunting outfitter based in Belen, New Mexico, run by owner-guide Dan Reyes, who has guided big game hunts across Arizona and New Mexico for more than 20 years. Their signature offering is private-ranch elk hunting in Unit 46 near Ocate in northeastern New Mexico, the state’s only 100%-private elk unit, set in cedar-juniper canyon country and open ridges around 6,800 feet elevation. Beyond elk, they guide archery, muzzleloader, and rifle hunts for mule deer, Coues whitetail, oryx, Barbary sheep, and antelope. Fully outfitted packages include lodging in cabins or houses with home-cooked meals in nearby Timberon, while guide-only packages suit hunters who arrange their own lodging and meals.
