Duck Down Guide Service

Duck Down Guide Service - Waterfowl hunting in Arkansas
Duck Down Guide Service - Waterfowl hunting in Arkansas

Description

Duck Down Guide Service hunts the northern half of a 6,050-acre private farm near Tucker, Arkansas, about 15 minutes west of Stuttgart and a mile north of Bayou Meto Wildlife Management Area, in the heart of Arkansas’s Grand Prairie duck country. Hunters work flooded timber, sloughs, and rice, soybean, corn, and millet fields using skid blinds, pit blinds, and layout blinds, with guides rotating locations through the season rather than hunting fixed spots. Beyond ducks, the operation also offers goose, dove, and predator hunting, plus standalone fishing trips. Hunters stay at partner lodges in the Stuttgart and Pine Bluff area rather than on the hunting property itself, with full dining service, TVs, and a pool table among the amenities. The region is reported to host more than two million migrating waterfowl each season. For hunters chasing volume duck hunting in classic Grand Prairie habitat, this is one of the established local operations.
