Great Southern Outdoors - Turkey, Hogs, Whitetail hunting in Alabama

Description

Great Southern Outdoors sits on 6,000 acres in Alabama’s Black Belt region near Union Springs, running bow, rifle, and muzzleloader whitetail hunts alongside turkey, hog, and upland bird programs. Hog hunts run semi-guided over bait with motion-detector feeders, while quail hunters work behind pointing dogs and pheasant shoots run tower-style in a continental format, with Tennessee Red quail and chukar rounding out the bird lineup. Lodging spans several options on the property: the historic Bughall Lodge dating to around 1890, the six-room Hunters Hide Out, the family-oriented Blue Gill Cabin, and a 6,000-square-foot activity center with dining, a game room, and a fire pit. Home-cooked meals and guide services come standard with most packages. Between the deer woods, the quail fields, and the pheasant tower, this is a working plantation built to host groups of every size, from a couple chasing a hog hunt to fifty-shooter pheasant days.
