Riverbend Trophy Whitetails is a family-run operation in the rolling hills of Osage County near Hominy, about an hour from Tulsa and its international airport. Owner Mike Charlton has hunted this ground personally for more than 40 years and guides most hunts himself, with his wife Kathy running the kitchen and son Sam handling day-to-day operations. The ranch runs a whitetail breeding program started in 2017, producing trophy bucks in the 150-to-250-plus-inch range inside a 250-acre high-fence enclosure, alongside free-range wild hog hunts available year-round with no trophy fees and exotic game options. Muzzleloader and rifle seasons on the free-range ground run only two to three weeks and are capped at a handful of hunts per year, keeping pressure low on that portion of the property. The operation backs its whitetail hunts with a no-kill, no-pay guarantee, provided the animal isn’t wounded. For hunters chasing a specific, high-scoring Oklahoma buck rather than a general deer season, Riverbend’s breeding program and guarantee are built around exactly that.
