Steve’s Hunts

Steve’s Hunts (also known as Steve’s Outdoor Adventures) is a multi-state and international hunting outfitter headquartered in La Grande, Oregon, that books guided hunts across North America and abroad. Their New Mexico elk program operates on 48,000 acres of private prairie and rolling timber land southwest of Springer, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of additional private acres that support consistently strong elk numbers. Rather than requiring a state draw, every package includes a guaranteed landowner voucher, giving hunters certainty of tag before booking. Hunters pursue mature bulls during September archery or October through December rifle seasons, accessing hunting areas by 4WD or UTV before finishing on foot. The property includes a lodge built in 2022, with meals and lodging included. Guides are on staff throughout the season. Interested hunters are directed to call rather than email.
