Turner Ranch Outfitting (Vermejo Park Ranch) - Elk, Turkey, Pronghorn, Mule Deer hunting in New Mexico

Description

Turner Ranch Outfitting operates guided big-game hunts on Vermejo Park Ranch, a privately owned 558,000-plus-acre reserve in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Colfax County near Raton, New Mexico. Owned by Ted Turner, Vermejo is the largest contiguous deeded ranch in New Mexico, spanning terrain from short-grass prairie to alpine tundra above 13,000 feet. The ranch offers fully guided hunts for elk, Merriam’s turkey, pronghorn, and mule deer, supported by low hunter density across expansive, gated, and privately managed habitat. Guests stay in a mix of historic manors, cottages, and guest rooms assigned by party size, with meals and hospitality included. Vermejo’s creeks, rivers, and lakes also support fly fishing and lake fishing for guests during the fishing season.
